Woodshop Classes — Ages 10–12

Our Woodshop Classes for Ages 10–12 provide a hands-on woodworking experience where students learn real skills while creating projects they'll actually use and be proud of. Designed for older kids who are ready for more detailed building and creative problem-solving, this class combines practical woodworking techniques with creativity, confidence, and craftsmanship in a safe and encouraging environment.

What We'll Build Together

Project 1: Floating Shelf

Build a wall-mounted floating shelf for displaying books, plants, and favorite treasures. Students will customize and finish their shelf with their own creative style.

Project 2: Bookends

Create a sturdy pair of wooden bookends to keep favorite books organized. A functional keepsake project that builds precision, creativity, and craftsmanship.

  • Pocket hole jig
  • Nail gun
  • Measuring tape
  • Calipers (for checking wood thickness)
  • Fractal (Lichtenberg) burning machine
  • Drum sander
