Woodshop for Teens — Ages 13–17

Our Woodshop for Teens program is a 12-week hands-on woodworking course designed for teens who want to build real skills, work with real tools, and create something they'll be proud to use for years to come. Students will learn practical woodworking techniques while building confidence, independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

The Project: Large Planter Box

Students will build a large, sturdy wooden planter box from the ground up — featuring their own custom design cut on our CNC machine. This project teaches foundational woodworking principles while giving teens a finished piece they can enjoy for years to come.
